Class format/information (please let me know if you need specific accommodations):

  • Classes will include lecture, discussion, demonstration, videos, and various games and activities.

  • There will be homework (easy) every week.

  • Throughout the 8 weeks, we will practice relaxation and have labor rehearsals during class. Please have 2 large pillows available.

  • If you find it is difficult for you to eat before class, please feel free to eat during class. I'd rather you eat during class than not eat.

  • Please bring a pen and paper to take notes. There is a lot of information given and it can be hard to store it all mentally without taking notes to review later.

Class attendance:

  • If you will be absent for any class, please let me know in advance.  I will do my best to provide you with any information that is covered that is not in your student workbook.  If possible and necessary, I will schedule a make-up class. There may be an extra charge of $35 for make-up classes.

  • If for any reason your coach cannot attend a class with you, you may attend alone or with an assistant coach.

  • Assistant coaches are also encouraged to attend class 7.

Your registration implies that you have read the registration information and agree with the terms stated above.

Lactation Support

Feeding your baby is a deeply personal journey, but it is also a learned skill that often benefits from guidance. Whether you are experiencing nipple pain, navigating slow weight gain, or simply need a professional flange fitting to make pumping more efficient, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

As an IBCLC, I provide evidence-based care for all families with the goal of creating a care plan that works for you. My practice is a safe space for LGBTQ+ parents, POC communities, and the DHH community (ASL conversational).

What to Expect During Your Consultation

I offer three ways to meet: in comfortable offices (Old Town Spring or Cypresswood), in-home across Houston & North Houston, or via HIPAA-compliant virtual visits.

During an initial 120-minute consultation, we will:

  • Review Your History: Discuss your pregnancy, birth story, and feeding goals.

  • Clinical Assessment: Perform a gentle oral and structural exam on your baby to check for tongue or lip ties.

  • Weighted Feed: Use a professional-grade scale to see exactly how much milk your baby transfers during a feeding.

  • Technical Support: Check your pump for proper suction and ensure your flanges are the correct size for comfort and supply.

  • A Sustainable Plan: We’ll co-create a feeding plan that fits your family’s physical and mental well-being.

How to Book Your Visit

Lactation needs are often urgent, and I prioritize getting families on the schedule as quickly as possible.

  1. Check Your Coverage: I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Cigna, and United Healthcare plans, some plans cover lactation support at 100% with no out-of-pocket cost.

  2. Reach Out: You can schedule by calling or texting 936-265-8256, or by filling out the inquiry form below. I typically respond within a few hours to coordinate a time that works for you.
